  1. We will detail the types of personal information we collect and the corresponding purposes so that you can understand what specific categories of personal information we collect for a particular product, service, or feature, the reasons for its use, and the methods of collection.

  2. The personal information we collect may include sensitive personal information. If such sensitive information is disclosed, illegally provided, or misused, it may endanger personal and property security and can easily lead to damage to personal reputation, physical and mental health, or discriminatory treatment. For these situations, we will use bold text to draw your attention.

  3. You can access, correct, delete your personal information, withdraw consent, deactivate your App account, file complaints, or set privacy features through the channels listed in this policy, thereby exercising control over your personal information.

We strive to use plain and concise language and highlight the terms that have or may have a significant impact on your rights in bold text to draw your attention.

You understand and agree that by clicking "Accept" during the account registration process and completing the registration of the App account or by actually using our products and services, you agree to the collection, use, storage, and sharing of your relevant information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

I. What Information We Collect

To help you better understand this privacy policy, we provide explanations of some common terms used in this document:

Mobile device: A mobile device that runs the APP, such as a smartphone, tablet, etc.;

Home robot products: Smart hardware devices that can be connected to the IoT platform via the APP, such as the 3i Smart Cleaning Station H1 Pro, 3i Smart Cleaning Station H1, etc.

To provide you with our services, we may request personal information necessary to provide the services. If you do not provide personal information, we may not be able to provide our products or services to you.

The basic functions of the products and services we provide include:

  1. All functions of your home robot product (as listed in the product manual);

  2. Pairing the App with your home robot product and controlling, recording the operation of the product;

  3. Communication and handling of issues related to the use and operation of the App and your home robot product paired with the App.

We will only collect information that is necessary for specific, clear, and legitimate purposes, and will not process related information further in a manner inconsistent with these purposes. We collect the following types of information (whether or not it is personal information):

(1) Information You Provide to Us

When you first open the App, we will ask you to confirm your country and region and select the language for using the App. An App account is a prerequisite for utilizing the App's business functions on the mobile device where the App is installed. When you register an account in the App, we will collect your mobile phone number (or email) and password.

(2) Mobile Device and APP Operation Related Information

We may collect information about the mobile device running the APP, including information about your cellular network operator. We may also collect information about APP crashes.

(3) Device Information

We may collect information about the home robot products bound to your account, such as the device model, MAC address, serial number (SN), device network status (IP/network signal), OAID, Android ID (device identifier for Android), firmware version, router MAC address information.

(4) Network Connection Information

The data collected during the network configuration process (which may involve the use of cookies technology for storage, allowing you to view historical network configurations next time) does not always contain personally identifiable information, including:

  1. App name;

  2. MAC address, operating system, and its version;

  3. The SSID, network type, IP address, location, time zone, time of sending network configuration requests to our server, which is used by your mobile device and your home robot when accessing the same Wi-Fi network;

  4. Your home robot model, serial number (SN), MAC address;

  5. The status and fault types during the network configuration process.

(5) Permissions Requested by the Mobile Device

We will need to access the following permissions on your mobile device:

  1. To perform network configuration and use App features that require network access, we will need to access "mobile data," obtain "Wi-Fi information," and access "local network" permissions. To complete the network configuration more efficiently, we will also need to access the "location" permission and "Bluetooth" permission of your mobile device;

  2. To store App usage logs and update App versions, we will need to access the "storage" permission;

  3. To ensure the security of your App account, we will need to obtain "device information";

  4. To push various messages related to your account to your mobile device, we will need to access the "notification" permission.

II. How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

  1. Creating your account. The phone number or email address collected when creating an account on your mobile device is used to create your personal account and profile.

  2. Ensuring the realization of basic functions of the APP and devices. The login information we collect is used to ensure the realization of the basic functions of the APP; the device information bound to your account is collected to ensure the realization of the basic functions of the device.

  3. Device access. When a device needs to be connected to the network, it needs to be configured through the APP. During this process, you need to enter the corresponding Wi-Fi name and password, combined with the collected time zone settings, approximate location information, account name, and Token. This information is only used for device network configuration. You can clear the Wi-Fi name and password at any time by resetting the device and deleting the APP.

  4. Device status display. This allows you to remotely view the device status so that you can always check the device's online status.

  5. Providing push services. Using your account for push services, sending you device notifications and system notification messages.

  6. Verifying user identity. The APP uses a password to verify your identity, ensuring that unauthorized persons cannot log in.

  7. Maintaining login status. Using a Token to help you maintain login status so that you do not need to re-enter your login account information when you re-enter the APP after exiting.

  8. Collecting user feedback. Your feedback is valuable in helping us improve our services and assist you in resolving issues you encounter during use. To track your feedback, your account name, the feedback you provided, and the mobile device model and system version will be retained on the server.

  9. Providing firmware upgrade functionality. Based on the firmware version information of all devices bound to your account through the APP, we will remind you to upgrade the firmware when the corresponding upgrade package is available.

  10. Improving products and services. We use your mobile device and APP operation-related information to better improve our products and services.

  11. Device information. We use your OAID and Android ID information to facilitate communication between the app and the device as a unique identifier.

  12. One-click login to the App. We use your mobile phone's IP address to provide safe and reliable one-click login services.

III. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information

1. Where We Store Your Personal Information. Personal information collected and generated within China will be stored on our servers rented from Alibaba Cloud within China. If it is necessary to transfer relevant personal information collected within China to overseas institutions for business or legal reasons, we will comply with the requirements of laws, administrative regulations, and relevant regulatory authorities, and through signing agreements, conducting audits, and other effective measures, require overseas institutions to keep the obtained personal information confidential.

2. Our Data Security Capabilities and Policies. We are committed to meeting the security

level required by laws and regulations. To ensure the security of your information, we strive to use various security technologies and supporting management systems to prevent your information from being leaked, damaged, or lost. At the same time, we have established a personal information protection responsibility department, implemented internal control systems, minimized the authorization of staff who may come into contact with your information, and strictly controlled the data access process and approval mechanisms.

3. Our Response to Personal Information Security Incidents. Please understand that due to technical limitations and potential malicious means, personal information security incidents may unfortunately occur due to factors beyond our control. If a security incident occurs, we will promptly inform you according to laws and regulations: the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, suggestions on how you can independently prevent and reduce risks, remedial measures for you, etc. We will promptly notify you of the relevant circumstances by email, letter, phone, or push notification, and in case it is difficult to notify individually, we will take reasonable and effective ways to publish an announcement. At the same time, we will also actively report the handling of personal information security incidents according to the requirements of regulatory authorities.

4. Deletion of Your Personal Information. We will retain your personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy and within the maximum time limit allowed by law (whichever expires first). After this period, we will promptly delete or anonymize your personal information. If we cease to provide all or part of our services or cease relevant operations, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information and notify you according to the 3i User Agreement, and delete or anonymize the personal information we hold. We will also respond to your request to delete personal information we have collected in accordance with applicable laws. However, we reserve the right to continue to retain your personal information in accordance with applicable legal requirements (e.g., log retention requirements) or to retain your personal information if other legal relationships between you and us continue, which require us to retain such information. We will also continue to retain records of your consent to the collection and use of personal information, subsequent changes, or withdrawal of consent (we will avoid new personal information collection during such retention) to meet legal obligations and potential litigation requirements.

IV. Common Scenarios of Sharing Your Personal Information

(1) Overview

Generally, we will only provide your personal information to third parties in the following situations:

To provide you with the business functions described in this policy, it is unavoidable to rely on third-party technology (e.g., using third-party technology databases, building the technical framework of the App or your home robot). Some third-party services may involve these third parties obtaining your personal information that you have agreed to provide to us in accordance with this policy (e.g., storing the data and databases of the App and your home robot on servers rented from third parties).

Please be aware that the above-mentioned third parties may have their independent privacy policies or personal information protection policies that may apply to you, and they may independently collect and use your personal information outside of the App or your device. These situations do not apply to this policy and do not incur our responsibility. If you need more information, please read the latest version of the privacy policies issued by these third parties from time to time or contact them directly. If you find risks with web pages created by these third parties or applications developed by third parties, it is recommended that you terminate the related operations to protect your legal rights.

(2) Delegated Processing

We promise to comply with the following requirements when we delegate the processing of personal information to third parties:

  1. Ensure that the delegated analysis does not exceed the scope of authorization and consent we have obtained from you unless it is a situation where consent is not required;

  2. Conduct a prior evaluation of the data security capabilities of the delegated processor to ensure they meet the legal requirements for data security capabilities;

  3. Bind the delegated processor’s responsibilities and obligations through a contract, requiring them to comply with applicable laws and not fall below our standards in fulfilling our obligations to you;

  4. Accurately record and store the circumstances of the delegated processing of personal information, ensuring the security of your information and effective access and control of your personal information processed by the delegated processor;

  5. When the delegation relationship ends, or when we delete or anonymize your personal information according to this policy, require the delegated processor to delete your personal information and destroy all data copies.

(3) Sharing of Personal Information

Currently, we do not share your personal information. We will only share your personal information for legal, legitimate, and necessary purposes, and the receiving party will not use the personal information shared by us for purposes other than those disclosed in this policy.

  1. Sharing your personal information as necessary to provide you with products and services:

(1) We will review and evaluate the receiving parties, the content of the personal information to be shared, the timing of sharing, the purpose of use, and the related security measures. We will conduct a prior personal information security impact assessment and take measures based on the assessment results to protect the rights of personal information subjects effectively;

(2) We will accurately record and store the circumstances of sharing your personal information, including but not limited to the date, scale, purpose, and basic information of the data recipient, to help you understand how the data recipient is storing and using your personal information;

(3) We will ensure that you have effective access and control over the personal information shared with third parties, such as access, correction, deletion, deactivation of App accounts, etc.

  1. Sharing your personal information based on mandatory requirements by laws and regulatory authorities: We may provide your personal information to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws, court orders, or other legal procedures, and mandatory requirements from administrative or judicial authorities. In such cases, information sharing does not require your authorization and consent.

(4) Joint Control

We will establish the necessary personal information security management requirements and incident handling requirements with joint controllers through contracts, ensuring that their standards are not lower than applicable legal requirements. Joint controllers must ensure that they use personal information only for the purposes described in this policy, always cooperate with you in exercising your rights related to personal information, and delete your personal information after the purpose described in this policy has been fulfilled. We will supervise this process.

(5) Other Third-Party Integration

We will establish personal information security responsibilities and personal information security measures with other third parties integrated into the App through contracts, properly retain relevant contracts and management records, and supervise their enhancement of personal information security management.

V. Uncommon Scenarios of Sharing Your Personal Information

(1) Transfer

Transfer refers to the scenario where we lose control of your personal information, while the transferee gains control over it. In principle, we will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual. If it is necessary to transfer personal information, we will do so in accordance with applicable laws and notify you of the purpose, the personal information involved, and the details of the transferee.

One possible scenario for the transfer of information is: As our business continues to develop, we may undergo mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, etc. (we will notify you of such situations according to the 3i User Agreement). If there is a change in the controller of your personal information or if your personal information is shared or transferred, we will notify you of the relevant changes and any choices you may have regarding your personal information. We will also require the new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to comply with this policy or to obtain your explicit consent again, and to continue protecting or require the data recipient to continue protecting your personal information in accordance with the standards required by law or this policy.

We will handle the transfer of your personal information in accordance with the above-mentioned commitments and inform you of the transferor's name, contact information, purpose of transfer, content involved, and the corresponding legal responsibility borne by the transferor according to applicable laws.

(2) Public Disclosure

In principle, we will not publicly disclose your personal information. If public disclosure is necessary, we will inform you in advance of the purpose, type of information to be disclosed, and any potentially sensitive information involved, obtain your explicit consent, and fulfill relevant legal obligations.

VI. How You Can Access and Control Your Personal Information

In accordance with Chinese laws, regulations, standards, and common practices in other countries and regions, we ensure that you can exercise the following rights regarding your personal information:

(1) Access and Update Your Personal Information

You can log into your App account and view the "User Information" and "Settings" interfaces to review or modify the personal data you have submitted, manage shipping addresses, and associated third-party accounts, or perform related privacy and security settings. However, for security and identity verification reasons or as required by law, you may not be able to modify some of the initial registration information you provided during registration. If you cannot access or correct your personal information through the above methods, please contact us using the contact information listed in Article IX of this policy for assistance. We will continue to develop interfaces that allow you to perform these operations independently, so please stay tuned for future updates of the App.

(2) Deleting Your Personal Information

You may request the deletion of your personal information under the following circumstances:

  1. If our collection and use of personal information violate the law;

  2. If our processing of personal information violates the agreement with you.

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify the entities that obtained your personal information from us, requiring them to delete the information promptly unless otherwise required by law or these entities have obtained your independent consent.

When you or we delete the relevant information, due to applicable legal and security measures, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system. We will securely store your personal information and further process and isolate it until the backup can be cleared or anonymized.

(3) Changing the Scope of Your Consent or Withdrawing Consent

You can change the scope of your consent or withdraw consent by requesting us to delete personal information or prohibiting the App from accessing permissions on your mobile device. You can withdraw consent or authorization through the App settings (see the "Deactivate Your APP Account" process). After completing the above processes, we may not be able to continue providing the App services due to the lack of necessary information.

(4) Deactivating Your App Account

You can request to deactivate your App account by contacting us using the contact information listed in Article IX of this policy or through the App interface in "Settings - My Profile - Edit - Deactivate Account." After deactivating the App account, the functions of your device that do not involve control through the App can still be used.

(5) Unbinding Devices from the App

You can delete the device by clicking the "Device Name" on the App homepage. After deletion, the information stored in the cloud for that device will be deleted.

(6) Responding to Your Requests

Before responding to your requests, to ensure security, you may need to provide a written request or prove your identity in other ways. We may require you to verify your identity, and after verification, we will process your request within fifteen (15) working days; in special circumstances, we will respond within no more than thirty (30) days or the time limit specified by law, or provide a reasonable explanation if we cannot respond promptly.

In the following circumstances, according to legal requirements, we will not be able to respond to your request:

  1. Related to national security or national defense;

  2. Related to public safety, public health, or significant public interests;

  3. Related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, and enforcement of judgments;

  4. There is sufficient evidence that you are acting in bad faith or abusing your rights;

  5. Responding to your request will result in significant damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals, organizations;

  6. Related to protecting the life, property, and other significant legal rights and interests of you or others, but it is difficult to obtain your consent;

  7. Related to trade secrets;

  8. Related to our compliance with legal obligations.

VII. Special Provisions for Minors' Personal Information

We take the protection of minors' personal information seriously. We will not knowingly collect their personal information. In cases where we collect minors' personal information with the consent of their guardians, we will use, share, transfer, or disclose such information only as permitted by law, with the guardian's consent, or when necessary to protect minors. If you are under 14 years old, or if you are not yet of legal age according to the laws and regulations of your location, we recommend that you ask your parents or guardians to read this policy and obtain their consent before using our services. Avoid providing any information that can identify you personally. If your guardian does not agree with you using our services according to this policy, or if you have provided us with personally identifiable information, please immediately stop using our services and promptly notify us so that we can take appropriate measures according to applicable laws.
